Sempre tive a vontade de tornar minhas newsletter um tanto mais pessoal. Escrever não somente dos acontecimentos recentes, mas também das
lições que tenho aprendido. Por isso criei um site na internet, porém como esse mês não tínhamos internet, não tive oportunidade de atualizar meu website.
Aqui vão algumas palavras de algo muito importante que aprendi esse mês: Usar em meu cotidiano 3 idiomas diferentes tem sido interessante. O fato de
ter falado português durante toda minha vida, de estar agora aprendendo espanhol e ao mesmo tempo convivendo com inglês (vivo com americanos) me
deixa confuso de vez em quando. Estava refletindo em um versículo na carta de Paulo aos coríntios.
"Passo agora a mostrar-lhes um caminho ainda mais excelente. Ainda que eu fale a língua dos homens
e dos anjos, se não tiver amor, serei como sino que ressoa ou como o prato que retine. 1 Co 13.1
Comecei a pensar nesse versículo e percebi quão significante são estas palavras. Pensei: ainda que eu viesse a aprender as 3 línguas de forma
perfeita, não me serviria de nada, se não tivesse amor. Mas como podemos aprender desse "idioma" tão amplo? Como podemos aprender a "linguagem do
amor"? Há um dicionário que nos explicaria mais sobre esse "idioma"?
"Amados, amemos uns aos outros, pois o amor vem de Deus. Aquele que ama nascido de Deus
e conhece a Deus. Quem não ma não conhece a Deus, porque Deus é amor." 1 Jo 4.7-8
Deus é a fonte, ele é o mais perfeito dicionário para entendermos AMOR. O maior exemplo do amor de Deus, foi ter enviado Jesus Cristo a terra
(João3.16). Jesus veio e doou sua vida em favor de outros Filipenses 2.5-11. Hum... Que amor é esse capaz de doar sua vida, sacrificar-se em favor dos
outros? Esse é o amor de Deus, demonstrado em seu filho Jesus Cristo. Na carta aos Coríntios, Paulo nos exorta a termos esse mesmo amor. De que
adianta está aqui no México, aprender espanhol... se eu não amar da mesma forma que Deus me ama? De que adianta para nós falarmos perfeitamente
nossos idiomas nativos, se não amarmos, se não praticarmos esse "caminho ainda mais excelente".

one of he reasons I created a website but this last month we didn’t have internet so I couldn’t update my website. Here I wrote some words of something I
learned this month: Be using day by day 3 different idioms has been interesting. Te fact I spoke Portuguese during my whole life and now I am learning
Spanish and living with Americans makes my brain run a little bit faster. I was meditating in a bible verse in the book of 1 Corinthians.
"And now I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels,
but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Co 12.31 - 13.1
I started thinking about this verse and I noticed how significant those words are. I though: even if I got to the point that I would be able to speak all 3
language perfectly, if I didn’t love, I will be the some of doing nothing. But how can we learn about this “idiom”? How can we speak “the language f love”? Is
there a dictionary to explain to me more about this “idiom”?
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love”. 1 Jo 4.7-8
God is the fountain, He is the most perfect dictionary able to explain to us about LOVE. The greatest example of God’s love was that He sent His son to
the earth (John 3.16) Jesus came and gave his life Philipians 2.5-11. Hum.. What kind of love is that someone would pour himself out, which would sacrifice
himself? This is God’s love, showed through His son Jesus Christ. In the letter to the church in Corinth, Paul encourages them and us as well, to have this
same kind of love. It would not be any good to me, be here in Mexico, learn Spanish, but forget to love in the same way God loves me. It would be a waste of
time to us, if we would be speaking different idioms, but forgetting to speak this “most excellent way”: the language of LOVE.
